Who’s There?

When she cries, no one listens in.

No one seemed to care, it was around 12 o’clock and she was still in school.

She thought she was alone in the world.

It was just then that the wooden floor creaked from around the corner in the library.

Had she really not been alone this whole time?

Who was lurking in the shadows?

Who had want to give her the time of day, she thought.

Who was really looking for her?

She had turned around and saw a bouquet of roses sitting right behind her, along with two hands that held them tightly.

Another girl held the roses and set them down.

Who was she? And why did she care?
